Ex-Ghana international Anthony Baffoe has urged players of Liberian club Rising Stars to take education seriously as education is a more powerful weapon.
"Football is a powerful weapon, but when education is added to it, it becomes a more powerful weapon,” Baffoe said.
Baffoe paid a visit to the players alongside friend Solomon Torson, a Ghanaian and former player of Queens Park Rangers in England.
It can be recalled that 22 young players, predominantly minors, traveled from Liberia to Laos via Ghana in February.
But the Liberian side were not successfully and Baffor has vowed to help.
"We will continue to launch a full scale investigation into the whole Laos trip and those other players that left there will have to return home as they don't have their own way or decision to make.”
