Saha Urges Man United to Prioritize Osimhen Signing
Ruben Amorim - Man Utd Manager

Louis Saha, a former Manchester United forward, has urged the club’s new manager, Ruben Amorim, to make Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen a top priority for next summer’s transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Saha believes that Osimhen’s impressive goal-scoring form makes him an ideal candidate to help fix United's ongoing attacking struggles. Despite Osimhen's current loan at Galatasaray, Saha is convinced that the 24-year-old is the perfect fit for the Red Devils, given his consistency and natural goal-scoring ability.

Saha pointed to Osimhen's impressive form over the past few seasons, saying, “If you look at the stats, Man Utd should go after Victor Osimhen over Viktor Gyokeres, it’s as simple as that.

Viktor Gyokeres - Manchester United's target
He’s been scoring goals for four years at Napoli and has done exactly the same since joining Galatasaray.” He stressed the Nigerian's experience and versatility, adding that his goal-scoring instincts are exactly what the club needs to strengthen their attack.

Saha further emphasized Osimhen's suitability to United's needs, citing his confidence, consistency, and big-game mentality. "Osimhen is a huge character and has the confidence to be a success everywhere he goes. There’s a guarantee with him given the amount of time he has been successful. He is a big-game player and loves the game."

With United's current forward options, Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee, both struggling to find the back of the net consistently, Saha believes Osimhen’s natural scoring ability would make him an ideal addition to the squad.

He also compared Osimhen’s mentality to that of Erling Haaland, stating, “He doesn’t care how his goals go in; he just wants to score, and that’s what he does. He reminds me of Erling Haaland in that sense. I think he could be what Man Utd need.” With the club struggling in attack, securing a striker of Osimhen’s calibre could prove crucial for their long-term success.
