Having made his debut in November 2015 for Benfica, the Portuguese has unveiled his new shirt number with the German champions ahead of the upcoming 2016-17 season.
During his time in Portugal, Sanches wore number 85 for the Eagles before representing his national side in France as number 16.
The youngster revealed on Saturday evening that he will be Bayern Munich's number 35 for the campaign ahead.
The number 35 jersey has been unoccupied at Bayern since the 2009-10 season where it was worn by goalkeeper Thomas Kraft who failed to make a single appearance for the club during the campaign.
