Midfielder Blaise Matuidi has backed record signing Cristiano Ronaldo to come good and score a significant number of goals for Juventus this season.
Ronaldo netted 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid before making the move to Italy in the summer, but he has so far failed to open his account for Juve after two outings.
I know he will score an enormous amount of goals.

However, France World Cup 2018 winner Matuidi has no doubts that his Portuguese team-mate will eventually deliver in spades.
He told reporters after a 2-0 home win over Lazio: "He is the best player in the world. For us it is something exceptional, we are very happy to play with him.
"We're going to help him score goals because it is in his DNA. We know that if he scores goals it will help us win more matches.
"He is someone who goes forward very quickly, who is very mobile, we need to understand each other better. We will improve in that sense and I know he will score an enormous amount of goals."
Juve head coach Massimiliano Allegri added his own support for his big-money summer recruit, saying: "Italian football is completely different to Spanish football. Ronaldo understands that and he is settling in very well.
"He's a very humble guy and I'm very pleased with the impact he has made so far."
Juventus are available at 1/5 to win the Serie A title again this season, with Inter Milan 14/1 and Napoli 6/1.
