Ghanaian midfielder King Osei-Gyan provided a crucial assist for Halmstad BK who fought to hold Hammarby to a 2-2 a draw in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Saturday afternoon.
Gyan had perfectly set up Christoffer Andersson to put Halmstad in front with a 59th minute strike but the host fought to level the scoring four minutes later through Jan Solli.
The assist was Gyan's third of the season for Halmstad who have not had things smooth since the start of the campaign.
While the 26-year-old Gyan was in full-time action, Swedish-born Ghanaian defender Joseph Baffo was introduced in the final five minutes of the game.
Former Ghana U20 striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari was not in the Halmstad squad for the game.
