Super Eagles midfielder Dele-Bashiru has explained the aspect of his game that has been significantly worked on following his goal in the nervy 1-1 draw against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 23 year old put Lazio in the driving seat after tucking home an opener in the 27th minute but his goal was cancelled out by a 88th minute equalizer from Brescianini that was assisted by his compatriot Ademola Lookman.

Speaking to Lazio TV after the game, he said; “They [Baroni and the Lazio coaching staff] help me a lot, and what he [Baroni] wants me to do more is when I receive the ball, to go forward more, my body positions, things like that. So I’m trying to implement that into my game."

Bashiru who was later on replaced by Dia in the 69th minute would be hoping for another goal when Lazio play away to Roma.
