AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to miss at least a month of action due to an injury sustained in the 1-1 draw against AS Roma last weekend, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 25-year-old Nigerian international was stretchered off the pitch in the 61st minute of the encounter, and initial assessments suggest he will be sidelined for an extended period.

Chukwueze's injury is a significant blow to AC Milan, who are already dealing with a lengthy injury list. Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor, and Alessandro Florenzi are all currently out of action.

The Nigerian winger's absence will also be felt in the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana clash against Juventus in Riyadh on January 3.

AC Milan appointed Sergio Conceicao as their new head coach on Monday, and the Portuguese tactician will have to navigate the team's injury crisis in his early days in charge.
