Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila recovered from a minor injury to help his side Al Qadsia continue their winning run of four consecutive victories in the Kuwaiti league by beating Khaitan SC 5-1.
The on-loan defender is yet to miss a game since moving to the Arabian Peninsula on a short term contract.
Sumaila was again his commanding self at the heart of Al Qadsia’s defense and made several impressive blocks to set his side on the path to a comfortable 5-1 thumping of their guests.
The win keeps Al Qadsia in third three points behind Al Kuwait in second place and six behind Al Arabi in first place.
