Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has been confirmed as the fastest player in the Premier League by EA Sports ahead of the imminent release of FIFA 17, "?reports the Metro.
As the release date looms, the game producers drip feed excited fans nuggets of information at a time, and it has now been revealed that the Gunners full-back is the quickest in the division after being handed a 95 rating.
The Spanish international is famed for his ability to bomb up and down the touchline in North London and is often seen racing back to produce last ditch tackles on strikers who believed they had sprung the attentions of the Arsenal defence.
Fans of Bellerin had raged last year after Walcott was announced as the quickest player on the game, despite reports that the Spaniard had topped the speed record in training, a record previously held by the Arsenal winger.
Theo Walcott the fastest player on FIFA 16, even though Bellerin proved he was faster ? FIFA for you
Bellerin broke Walcott's sprint record 2 years in a row yet Walcott is the fastest player in FIFA 16 with 96 pace. What a joke @EASPORTSFIFA
The Gunners full-back is, however, only the fourth quickest player from across the leagues on the latest edition with Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang topping the charts, whilst Inter Milan's Jonathan Biabany and the relatively unknown Mathis Bolly taking the bronze and silver medals respectively.

Bellerin, 21, is joined on the list of the world's quickest footballers by recent Leicester City recruit Ahmed Musa (93 pace) and Premier League Player of the Month Raheem Sterling (93 pace).
Meanwhile, the Emirates faithful may recognise the name of Ryo Miyaichi, the former Gunner has been awarded 94 pace.
