Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim has agreed on ona deal with Olympic Lyon for the transfer of Nigerian forward Gift Orban, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Hoffenheim have been in talks with Lyon for several weeks, and have seen off competition from Ligue 1 club RC Lens, who had a bid rejected for the 23-year-old striker.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement on social media platform X, writing: "Hoffenheim and Olympique Lyon have agreed on a deal for Gift Orban, green light from OL to proceed. Formal steps to follow on the player side to get the deal sealed."

Orban is now expected to travel to Germany for medicals, paving the way for his transfer to Hoffenheim.
The Nigerian international joined Lyon from Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent in January 2023.
