"?Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been voted as the Bundesliga Player of the Year after yet another prolific season in German football's top tier, according to "?BBC Sport.
The 26-year-old won the vote by just 0.2%, finishing above Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.
The award is comparable to the Premier League's PFA award, in that it is determined by votes from fellow Bundesliga players that are a part of the German players' union, the VDV.
"It's a great honour to be recognised and appreciated by your fellow colleagues," Aubameyang told reporters.
"This is for everyone at Dortmund and our amazing fans."
The Gabon striker enjoyed the most successful season in front of goal of his career, scoring 25 Bundesliga goals in 29 appearances as well as 39 goals in all competitions.

He was also named in the Bundesliga XI of the year alongside no less than nine Bayern Munich players and Dortmund team-mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
His prolific form has seen a wealth of interest from Europe's leading clubs, including Real Madrid and Arsenal, who have been "?tipped to sign the 26-year-old by former Gabon team-mate Daniel Cousin.
