Adam out to impress

Charlie Adam has admitted he must focus on improving his game if he is to keep his place in the Liverpool side.

Charlie Adam hopes to stay a first-team choice.

The summer signing from Blackpool has started every game this season but with Steven Gerrard set to return soon after a lengthy absence through injury, his place in the side is under threat.

Adam has another chance to prove his worth against Spurs on Sunday, a side who had tried to sign the Scotland international in the January transfer window.

Liverpool are 8/1 to win 1-0 at White Hart Lane and Adam can be backed at 9/1 to score first.

Boss Kenny Dalglish has rejected the notion that Spurs will be at a disadvantage following their midweek Europa League game in Greece.
