Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has handed in a transfer request from the Premier League club, according to the player's agent.
Blackpool have already rejected bids from Aston Villa and Liverpool for Adam.
The news comes after boss Ian Holloway revealed that three Premier League rival clubs had made unsuccessful bids for the player - Aston Villa, Birmingham and latterly Liverpool.
Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston said they had rejected a £4million offer from Liverpool on Friday.
But Adam is now keen to move on and his agent Kenny Moyes said: "I can confirm Charlie has handed in a transfer request."
Blackpool play host to Manchester United on Tuesday and can be backed at 9/1 to win the encounter, with United at 1/3 and the draw currently 4/1 - Full Time Result betting.
Adam arrived at Bloomfield Road in January 2009 initially on loan from Rangers.
He sealed a permanent move that summer after Blackpool paid £500,000 for his services.
Adam responded with 19 goals as the club sealed a remarkable promotion to the Barclays Premier League through the play-offs.
He was back on target for the fourth time this season on Saturday when he scored from the penalty spot in the 2-1 defeat by Sunderland.
Ian Holloway's side are now at odds of 1/3 to be relegated from the Premier League 2010/11.
