Nigeria International midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, will not be with the Super Eagles squad when they face the Desert Foxes of Algeria due to injury yet again.
Reoccurrence of injury has been the major setback for the Leicester City midfielder, missing key games for both club and country.
Ndidi who has been playing for the Foxes as a central defender since the start of the season was among the players invited to the Super Eagles camp in Algeria for the friendly.
According to the update from the team camp, Ndidi has sustained injury again and he has been ruled out of the game.
He has decided to return to his base in England to commence recuperation and rehabilitation.
"Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is injured and out of the game against Algeria. He has left the team’s camp and returned to England. Get well soon Wilfred", NFF confirmed.
