Westham youngstar of Nigerian descent to be loaned out this summer

Armstrong Okoflex  of Nigerian descent may depart West Ham United on a temporary basis before the summer transfer window closes for business.

The Athletic UK has reported that it is likely that Okoflex will be loaned out this summer but traveled with the first team for their pre-season training camp in Scotland.

Per the report, it would give manager David Moyes food for thought if he seizes his opportunity.

Signed from Glasgow Celtic last summer, Okoflex was one of the standout players for the Hammers development squad in his first season at the London Stadium.

The exciting winger was the development squad's top scorer last season with 18 goals across 29 appearances in all competitions and the highlight of his season was his hat-trick against his former employers Arsenal on the opening day of the Premier Leaue 2 season.

Okoflex earned thirteen call-ups in all competitions for first team games in 2021-2022 but was not utilized off the bench in any of the matches.

Though he is in the final year of his contract, West Ham have the option to extend his deal for an additional year.
