Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has joined Southampton from Scottish Premiership giant, Glasgow Rangers, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
Many speculation about the future of the Super Eagles midfielder in recent days but the 25- year-old has put all that behind him after penning a four year deal with the Saints.
Joining from Charlton for a compensation fee in 2019, Aribo went onto make 149 appearances for Rangers scoring 26 goals.
According to popular Italian journalist Romano Fabrizio, he joined the Saints for £6m plus add-ons to £10m package to Rangers.
Aribo played a significant part in Rangers reaching the Europa League final and securing the Scottish Cup, and he became only the fourth player to score for the club in a European final with the opener in Seville.
Meanwhile, the following his exit from Scotland, Joe Aribo has penned an emotional farewell to Rangers and the fans.
The Nigeria midfielder via his twitter handle thanked the club after completing the move.

Aribo started his career at now-defunct Staines Town in non-league, before being spotted by Charlton after breaking into Staines’ first team as an 18-year-old.
A versatile midfielder who can play wide or centrally, Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst had utilised Aribo as a makeshift striker during an injury crisis last season.
