"?Former Hull City striker Dean Windass has been able to see the funny side of his bankruptcy after witnessing three-times bankrupt Donald Trump defy all odds to claim the US presidency.
Windass, now 47, was in court last month involved with bankruptcy proceedings after allegedly having owed more than £150k.
He is set for another hearing at the start of December, where his lawyers will mount a defence and try to find a solution to his huge debts.
Speaking to the "?Teeside Gazette, the disgraced former footballer said: "People are looking at me like I have tourettes because of this, looking at me in a completely different light, but I am absolutely not a tax dodger,
"As a footballer I was paying 40% tax, but now this is happening - it is embarrassing for me."?

But now, amid Donald Trump's presidential scoop, Windass is in brighter spirits, claiming that a Prime Ministerial role is next on the agenda for the ex-Bradford striker.

Windass had previously opened up about his struggled with alcohol mis-use and depression, but he insists that his troubles are behind him and that he wants to rewrite headlines claiming that he is a 'tax-dodger'.
"My life is on the right track but these people are ruining me,"? Windass added.
"It is madness, but I'm not a tax dodger - if I lent £20 from someone in the pub I would make sure I paid them back.
"But how can someone ask for £164k when I've never even had a penny from this?"?
