Dannaz Football Club picked their first three points of the 2024/25 Creative League campaign following a hard fought win against Valiant FC 2-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

With both sides yet to get a win, the matchday four encounter lived up to expectation as both sides played a cagey game in the first, albeit heading into the break with a 1-1 score-line.

Mohammed Shuaib latched on to a mix up in the visitors defense line to give Dannaz the lead but the celebration was short-lived when Sixtus Elegalam, captain of Valiant FC was pulled down in the box, Maleek Sanusi then stepped up to covert the effort to restore parity.

Upon second half resumption, Sixtus was sent off the game after simulation, picking up his second yellow card of the game. Despite contesting the referee's decision, the initial decision stood and off he went.

Dannaz then capitalized on the 10 men advantage, getting a goal through Joel in the 65th minute to get them ahead. That goal was enough for them to hold onto the end despite late pressures to pick their first win of the season.

Goal scorer for Dannaz Muhammad Shuaib was awarded the man of the match.
