Flamingos forward, Harmony Chidi expressed joy and relief after scoring her first goal at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The forward netted Nigeria's second goal in their 4-0 victory over Ecuador on Saturday.
"I'm very happy. I don't know how to express this. It's a joy for me right now," Chidi said.

Chidi, who scored 12 goals in qualifying, acknowledged her coach's support after a goalless outing in the previous game.
"He believes in me so much that I can do it, even when it's not coming, so I appreciate him for that and bless God for it."
Chidi after the game against Ecuador was awarded the player of the match for her outstanding performance.
