Victor Boniface, the Nigerian footballer, had a narrow escape after being involved in a ghastly car accident, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Just hours after scoring the winning goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, Boniface's car crashed, leaving him hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Thankfully, he's recovering well and even shared images of the crash on his Instagram stories, expressing gratitude to God for sparing his life.
His post read, "Na so una for just hear say my enemy don die. God is the greatest".
Fans and the football community are relieved that Boniface is okay, considering his importance to both Bayer Leverkusen and the Super Eagles.
