NPFL: Ikorodu City get back to winning ways as Rangers International get rare win in Minna

Ikorodu City returned to winning ways, Rangers International also returned to winning ways with an away win while there were wins for other home teams in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

After 3 matches without a win, Lagos-based side, Ikorodu City got a hard-fought 2-1 win over Akure side Sunshine Stars in another South West derby.

Shola Adelani's 38th-minute goal was canceled by Chidozie Iwundu 3 minutes after additional time after Alade's goal in the 44th minute was ruled out for offside.

Rivio Ayemwenre scored from the spot in the 13th minute of additional time following the protest of the visitors for seven minutes after the center referee blew the penalty.
