The Chairman of Abia Comets FC Chief Boniface Alozie Uche has praised the players' performance in their 2-0 win over Beyond Limits FA on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The chairman while speaking with the players' after the conclusion of their Monday training session at the Umuahia Township Stadium revealed that he was proud with the way the team played which showed desire and hard work.
"I'm so happy with the way you played and the desire you showed to come out victorious in the game", Chief Boniface Alozie said.
"I still believe we can play more better as a team but we have to be starting the game in a fast pace and not starting late in games."
"But I'm so happy with the way you performed not just the winning but how you dominated the game," the chairman concluded.
The Sporting Director, Mr Nnorom Kelechi Orji who came alongside the chairman also lauded to the players' outing as he encouraged them to keep on working hard as a team.
Abia Comets will continue on its preparation ahead of this Friday's Matchday 3 encounter away against Madiba FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium.
