League Two club announces the signing of Youngster of Nigerian descent

Crawley Town Football Club announces the signing of 22-year-old centre-back of Nigerian descent Tobi Omole on a two-year deal.

As earlier reported three days ago, Tobi Omole left Tottenham Hotspur and his destination was Broadfield Stadium of Crawley Town.

The move is now edged in stone as Crawley Town Football Club officially announced the signing of the defender yesterday.

The exciting defender has spent his young career so far in North London amongst both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur’s youth ranks, recording 51 appearances in the Premier League 2 for their U23 teams most recently, scoring

Omole stands at 1.89m and scored three times whilst playing in the Premier League 2.

Tobi told hisnew club: “I am here to achieve promotion, I am a ball-playing centre-back and am excited to be a part of this new project at Crawley Town.”

The defender will not be taking to the field in today’s pre-season friendly against Queen’s Park Rangers but will start training with the group next week.
