Nigerian midfielder Aly Casmir Chinonso has been linked with a move from JS Omrane to fellow Tunisian Ligue 1 club Esperance.
Chinonso, 20, has started both of JS Omrane’s league matches in the 2026-27 season, playing the full 180 minutes and receiving one yellow card. He has not scored or registered an assist during those appearances.
The defensive midfielder joined JS Omrane on 31 January 2025 and has since made two Ligue 1 appearances, both coming in the current campaign. He is under contract with the club until 30 June 2027.
The reported interest would see Chinonso remain in Tunisia’s top flight, with Esperance considering a player who has established himself in JS Omrane’s starting line-up at the beginning of the season. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains at the rumour stage.
Born in Nkpor, Chinonso is listed as a Nigeria international prospect and primarily operates in defensive midfield. He is right-footed and stands 1.70 metres tall.
The proposed switch would represent only the second club move of his senior career, after his arrival at JS Omrane in January 2025. For now, Chinonso remains a JS Omrane player with two years left on his contract.
