Arsenal have decided to open negotiations with Kai Havertz’s representatives over a contract extension for the Germany forward, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
Havertz’s current deal with the reigning Premier League champions runs until the end of June 2028. The 27-year-old’s market value is estimated at 60 million euros.
The forward has made five appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals.
Arsenal have collected 12 points from their opening five matches and are second in the table.
