Highly rated Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho has given his assessment of Victor Osimhen following his loan move to Galatasaray and why he confronted the striker when Roma and Napoli clashed last season in the Serie A, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Despite being linked to Chelsea throughout the summer transfer window, Osimhen secured a late loan move to Galatasaray from Napoli after falling out of favor with the Italian giants.
Fenerbahce manager Mourinho is eager to face Osimhen again, having previously encountered him while managing Roma against Napoli. The two sides will meet at The Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on September 21.
Culled from his interview with HT Spor, Mourinho admitted a cordial relationship with the Super Eagles striker but admitted that he dives too much.
"I don't have problems with Victor. In fact, we have a very good relationship. But every time I play against him, I speak with him because I don't like the way he behaves. He dives too much".
Both parties will cross paths again when Mourinho's Fenerbache who are currently top of the log face Galatasaray who have a game in hand on September 21.
