Former Hearts board member Aziz Haruna Futah has urged the club’s followers to forgive ‘frustrated’ striker Gilbert Fiamenyo.

Fiamenyo, 23, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons after he launched a sensational attack on the club’s supporters over the weekend.

The former Heart of Lions attacker labeled the supporters as ‘fools and stupid’ following widespread allegations he leaked a secret audio which captured players mocking the downward spiral of the team.

The bulky attacker has been angered by repetitive accusations against him and took the club’s fans to the cleaners in an explosive tirade which has gone viral.

But former board member and a member of the powerful chapter O group, Aziz Futah is urging the supporters to forgive him.

“I will urge the supporters to forgive him (Fiamenyo). It’s obvious he’s frustrated,” he said

“If we have not forgive him, like he will not be able to train. We would have stopped him long ago.

“He’s confused and frustrated. I don’t know where he slept. He just woke up and started talking.

“But Like I said, we should forgive him.”

Fiamenyo has since apologized for the insulting comment which has angered the club’s teeming fans.
