Earlier this week, there were reports of Bayern Munich ready to sign Victor Osimhen for a whopping €120million after they failed to convince Lewandowski to sign another contract, but contrary to those reports, a Bundesliga expert with the name Gianluca di Domenico has debunked the news stating the club will for no reason break bank for the Nigerian international, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Giving his candid views on the European transfer market, the seasoned agent said Bayern likes Osimhen, but not his valuation by Napoli.
"When Osimhen arrived at Wolfsburg, it was not a spectacular season for him and in fact had to leave. In Naples he became a real and important player.
"The first person who spoke of Osimhen was a former Bayern player and he said that in case of Lewandowski's farewell, that the Nigerian would be the perfect replacement.
"Bayern Munich won't pay that amount for Osimhen, they have a certain directive, the club likes it anyway.
"At Bayern Munich, if Beckenbauer is removed, the managers have continuity and tradition and such things as happened to Niegelsmann, and are not tolerated at Bayern."
He also gives reasons as per why Lewandowski will see off his contract at the Allianz Arena.
"We need to understand Bayern's structure well, there have been players who have always wanted to respect contracts like Kahn who finished his contract there. The only club from which it is still difficult to take away a player under contract is Bayern, it is not a matter of money but of values.”
