Ghana and Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams admits his howler helped Kotoko reach the MTN FA cup final.

Adams 30-years had a day to forget in the office after failing to deal with what was a routine shot from defender Christopher Boney to hand Kotoko a lead in their MTN FA cup semi-final clash.

He again was at fault when Michael Akuffo sent in another feeble looking shot that the shot-stopper failed to deal with.

With his errors ultimately causing his side in what ended up being a 3-1 defeat, Adams admits it was one of those days to forget.

“Yes it’s true I had a day to forget and I tried my best like I do in every game,” Adams told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I take the good with the bad and as a professional when you have a bad day you have to admit and that I have done and apologized to my colleagues.”

“I give my best to Aduana in every game and if in one my performance was not good I accept it and try to work even harder to improve.”
