Rivers United have a quite ambition to become champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, veteran goal keeper, Rotimi Sunday has revealed.
The Port-Harcourt based side secured their eight win of the current campaign on Sunday against Warri Wolves in a 1-0 away win and have cut the difference between them and league leaders ; Enugu Rangers, to just three.
Rotimi told footballlive.ng, that the side is keen on stacking up the three points as the games come and by the end of the season hope it keeps them in strong contention for what has so far proven to be one of the most competitive season yet.
