Viktor Gyokeres could leave Arsenal as four clubs make contact

Viktor Gyokeres is unhappy with his current situation at Arsenal and could move on during the January transfer window.

According to Daily Briefing, the Swedish centre-forward’s agent has held preliminary talks with four clubs: Milan, Juventus, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad.

Gyokeres joined Arsenal from Sporting last summer but has not established himself as the club’s first-choice centre-forward. This season, manager Mikel Arteta has instead placed his trust in Germany international Kai Havertz in that position.

The 27-year-old’s market value is currently estimated at 65 million euros. His contract with Arsenal runs until the end of June 2030.

A move in January would therefore depend on whether an interested club is prepared to meet Arsenal’s valuation and agree terms for a player who still has more than three years remaining on his contract.
