Terem Moffi scored his first goal for Hamburger SV as they came from behind to beat Hoffenheim 3-2 away in the German Bundesliga.

The Nigeria Super Eagles forward began the match on the bench but was introduced in the 73rd minute. He made an immediate impact, scoring Hamburg’s equaliser in the 83rd minute to level the game at 2-2.

Hamburg took the lead when Youssoufa Poulsen found the net, but Hoffenheim were gifted an equaliser on the stroke of half-time through Bornauw’s own goal.

The hosts then moved in front in the 53rd minute, with Conte scoring to put Hoffenheim in a strong position to claim all three points.

Moffi’s late intervention restored parity and set up a dramatic finish, before Miro Muheim completed Hamburg’s comeback with a late goal to secure the visitors’ 3-2 victory.

The goal gives Moffi a confidence boost as the Nigerian international continues trying to establish himself at Hamburger SV and make an impression in the Bundesliga.
