Victor Osimhen is likely not to feature for Walter Mazzarri at Napoli again with the manager under intense pressure to deliver with Marco Giampaolo touted as one of Walter Mazzarri's potential successors should Napoli produce another subpar performance against Barcelona in the Champions League.

The Nigerian striker has been unavailable since his return from AFCON due to injury and he might as well as played his last game for the tactician who won't be having his star striker for the must win game against Barcelona, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Walter Mazzarri was chosen to succeed Rudi Garcia as Serie A champion in November, but the move hasn't paid off as Napoli are playing like the worst Serie A winners in almost 60 years.

Alberto Gilardino's Genoa held the Partenopei to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, and following the final whistle, the Stadio Maradona crowd jeered at the players and coach Mazzarri.

This Wednesday's opening leg of the Champions League Round of 16 between Napoli and Barcelona is, per Gazzetta, Mazzarri's last chance to keep his job.
