Nigeria's Victor Osimhen scored twice to write his name in the books of history as Napoli thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt by three goals to nil in the UEFA champions league on Wednesday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Eagles striker scored his first in the 45th minute through a great looping header from Matteo Politano's cross to give Napoli the lead.
He doubled the lead in the 53rd minutes after forcing in a cross from Giovanni Di Lorenzo from close range to make it 2-0 for the home team.
Piotr Zieli?ski consolidated the lead from the penalty spot after he was stripped by Djibril Sow.
After the final whistle, Osimhen was named the man of the match.
He has now scored 3 goals in the competition and 23 goals for Napoli in 28 games, with 5 assists this season.
Napoli are through to their first Champions League quarter-final.
