TRANSFERS - Report: Bauer moving to St. Truiden

Robert Bauer has apparently found a new club. As reported by 'Transfermarkt.de', the right-back is about to move to VV St. Truiden. The former SV Werder Bremen player is expected for a medical check this Monday.

At the Belgian club, the 26-year-old will meet Toni Leistner (31, Hamburger SV) and Rocco Reitz (19, Borussia Mönchengladbach) who have also moved to St. Truiden from Germany. Bauer has played 89 Bundesliga games during his career.

Bauer moved to FC Ingolstadt from Karlsruher SC in 2014. Bauer joined Werder Bremen on August 23, 2016. Bauer was loaned to 1. FC Nürnberg for the 2018–19 season on the 5th of July 2018. Nürnberg has agreed to sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Bauer was dismissed from Werder Bremen training in June 2019 after returning from loan at Nürnberg.

He signed a long-term contract with Russian team FC Arsenal Tula on August 20, 2019. He remained without a club until today, according to the report, when he joined a new one.
