After turning down a move to Arsenal last summer, French midfielder Houssem Aouar's interest has dwindled completely this offseason, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.
Lyon are eager to sell Aouar this window, but have got little interest from major European clubs, and are now considering allowing Aouar leave on a loan with an option to purchase. Quite a turnaround for a player for whom OL wanted a €50 million transfer price less than a year ago.
RMC claimed last week that OL coach Peter Bosz and sporting director Juninho had placed Aouar on a list of players they were looking to trade due to "their bad attitude" following the weekend loss to Angers.
According to Sky, Tottenham have just gone into talks with Lyon over a prospective transfer, however sources contacted by Get French Football News were unable to corroborate this when pressed.
