Feyenoord in talks with Arsenal over the loan signing of forward Reiss Nelson and are increasingly confident of doing a deal.
Feyenoord switched their attention to Nelson after pulling out of a deal to sign Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, who was ruled out for six weeks with a thigh injury.
Nelson’s Arsenal contract runs until the summer of 2022.
The Gunners will extend his contract until 2023 ahead of the loan move to Feyenoord. It means he will have one year left when he returns from the loan spell.
