"?Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago has expressed his confidence in Diego Simeone staying at the club, after the Argentine saw his side lose the UEFA Champions League final on penalties to city rivals Real.
As reported by "?Goal.com, the Portuguese international said, "I have no doubt" when asked whether he believed the charismatic manager would continue at the Vicente Calderon, with several rumours flying round that the defeat could be his last as Atletico boss.
It was the second time in three years that Los Colchoneros have fallen at the final hurdle in Europe's premier competition, both times coming at the hands of Real Madrid, whose penalty shoot-out success guaranteed them a record 11th European crown.
Diego Godin, Atletico's beating heart at the back commented, "It's a tough blow to take but we will pick ourselves up. We always do. We're very proud of what we've done this year. That's football, it happens, so we look for another opportunity.

"The important thing is to be there and I am convinced that this team is going to come back to win a Champions League because it deserves it."
Meanwhile, Saul Niguez was similarly proud of the team, saying, "I am proud of my team, of my fans, and I'm proud of being of Atletico Madrid. I think that we have given our all and it's something that happens in football. They have won the match with the luck of the penalties."
