KRC Genk head coach Thorsten Fink has heaped praises on his striker Tolu following a massive defensive contribution most notably in the club's historic 2-0 win against Anderlecht, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
With 9 home wins in a row, Genk signed for a new milestone in the club's history with goals from Tolu, and Karetsas enough to seal the victory against Anderlecht.
“Tolu is a top striker,” Fink said about him. “He is fast, strong in the air, left and right footed and he scores. What more could you want as a coach? Moreover, he now also carries out his defensive duties, which he didn’t before.
"We played a strong game. We knew we were going to face a good opponent, so we had to be 100% on our game to get the win. We scored at the right time, although I think we could have scored even earlier. Of course, our opponent also has quality, but we showed that we can handle that well", he added.
Up next for the team is the boxing day clash away to Antwerp.
