Legendary coach, Rafael Benitez has tipped Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman to succeed in Italy, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
Lookman after featuring for Leicester City last season joined Atalanta, a decision which the head of Leicester still regretting.
Speaking on the move to Italy, Rafael Benitez who once coached Inter Milan and Napoli said:
"Attention to Lookman in Atalanta: he could be a pleasant surprise.
"The return of Pogba and Lukaku? It is proof that Italian football still has appeal and potential to attract champions even from the Premier, which remains the league of reference. Specifically, it is an excellent signal for the whole movement."
Lookman sealed his €15 million move to Atalanta from RB Leipzig last week, to join a growing list of top Nigerian players in the Serie A.
