Rwanda's Amavubi arrive in Uyo for World Cup Qualifier on Tuesday

Rwanda's national team, the Amavubi, will arrive in Uyo on Tuesday ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The team is scheduled to land at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on a Rwandair Airline flight at 1:15 pm, before proceeding to Uyo at 4 pm.

The Rwandan contingent according to Dailypost, will be received at the Victor Attah International Airport by officials from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Rwandan Embassy in Nigeria.

The crucial match is set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on September 6.

Rwanda currently sits second in Group C with eight points from six games, and will be looking to make a strong impression against the Super Eagles.
