Nigeria have already secured top spot in Group B courtesy of victories over Japan and Sweden in their opening two games.

Colombia, meanwhile, are likely to need a positive result against the Super Eagles to avoid an early exit.

But the South Americans should not expect any favours from their opponents, with captain and Chelsea midfielder Mikel John Obi adamant Nigeria will not lose focus as they attempt to win their nation's second gold medal.

Meanwhile, Oghenekaro Etebo may have hit the headlines thanks to a four-goal haul against Japan, but the striker is not concerned with individual praise.

"I’m not going for personal glory but team glory, which to me means [winning] gold," he told Fifa's official website.

"Without the gold, it’s going to be painful because achieving that is important for me, for Nigerians and for my team-mates.”

Colombia face Nigeria at the Corinthians Arena, Sao Paulo on August 10. Kick-off is at 23:00 BST
