Former Spain winger Pedro Rodriguez has reflected on his time at Barcelona after announcing his retirement from football at the age of 39 on 7 October.
Pedro said the Catalan club’s achievements during his spell there had made a lasting impression, saying: “We amazed the whole world.”
He played for Barcelona’s first team from 2008 to 2015 before being sold to Chelsea. During his time with the Spanish club, Pedro won the Champions League three times and claimed five La Liga titles.
At international level, he also helped Spain win both the World Cup and the European Championship.
