Leeds United’s return to the Premier League has been marked by clear ambition, demonstrated through a busy summer transfer and among their latest targets is Nathan Tella, the former Southampton winger currently at Bayer Leverkusen, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Despite committing to remain with the Bundesliga champions beyond the summer, Tella has drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including Burnley, Brentford, Brighton, and Nottingham Forest as per TBR football.
However, no official bids have been made for the Nigerian international, who is currently valued at €15 million by Transfermarkt.
Highly regarded for his versatility, Tella is capable of operating on either wing, as a central attacking midfielder, or even up front.
Nonetheless, he has been most effective on the right flank, where his pace, creativity, and relentless work ethic make him a constant attacking threat.
These qualities have made him an integral part of Bayer Leverkusen’s plans for the upcoming season, with the club counting on him to play a key role. As it stands, a summer departure seems highly unlikely.
