Real Madrid TV has renewed its focus on refereeing controversies ahead of the meeting with Barcelona, claiming officials “stifled” the club in previous El Clasico fixtures.
A new programme released by the club’s television channel examines decisions involving Real Madrid and Barcelona. Its title includes the assertion: “They paid referees.”
The feature was published before the latest El Clasico, with Spanish newspaper AS reporting an extract from the broadcast.
Barcelona and Real Madrid will contest El Clasico on 25 October, with kick-off scheduled for 23:00 Moscow time.
