Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois over a new contract, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The deal is expected to be signed in the near future. Courtois’ current agreement with the Spanish club is due to expire next summer.

The new contract will keep the 34-year-old at Real Madrid, where he is set to continue as the club’s goalkeeper next season.

Courtois has made eight appearances for Real Madrid in the current La Liga campaign, conceding eight goals. He has also kept two clean sheets.
