PSG expected to rotate squad for Le Mans clash at Parc des Princes

Paris Saint-Germain are expected to make several changes when they host Le Mans at the Parc des Princes on 10 October 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 18:45 GMT in the sixth round of the French championship.

Ousmane Dembele and Nuno Mendes have been left out to rest, while Warren Zaire-Emery is unavailable. Luis Enrique is therefore likely to name a significantly altered side for the fixture.

Lucas Hernandez is expected to move into central defence, with Lucas Digne forecast to start at left-back. Matvei Safonov is likely to begin in goal, while Achraf Hakimi and Illia Zabarnyi are also set to feature in the defence.

Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo and Fabian Ruiz could form the midfield three. In attack, Maghnes Akliouche, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue are the likely starters.

Goalkeeper: Safonov

Defenders: Hakimi, Zabarnyi, L. Hernandez, Digne

Midfielders: Joao Neves, Beraldo, Fabian Ruiz

Forwards: Akliouche, Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue

Le Mans are expected to retain the three-centre-back system used by manager Patrick Videira. Their preparations have been affected by the absence of two important players, however.

Djibril Sidibe is suspended, while playmaker Adil Bourabaa has an ankle injury. With Bourabaa unavailable, much of the responsibility in attack is likely to fall on Louis Mafouta.

Kocik is expected to start in goal. Boisse, Yohou and Voyer are set to make up the back three, with Bamba, Vercruysse, Laurey, Bretelle and Calodat projected to operate across midfield.

Dame Gueye and Mafouta are the probable attacking partnership for Le Mans FC.
