Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman has revealed he modeled his football pattern after former African Football of the year, Sadio Mane, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Lookman is one of the three Nigeria internationals who made the CAF's Best XI at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and a threat got any defense in the Serie A.
One the back of his growth and achievement, the 26-year-old claimed he has learnt a lot from the former Senegalese star.
“The guy who I always looked at the most would have to be Sadio Mane,” Lookman told the Athletic.
“Looking at his threat in the box, his threat in those little tight spaces, his movement — I have watched a lot of his game in particular.”
Lookman just as Mane, known for his pressing, dribbling and pace scored 13 league goals last season for Le Dea.
