More than happy with his overall performing, Manchester City management are in talks with Brazilian international goalkeeper Ederson over an even further (and richer) long-term contract.
Playing for Premier League giants since 2017/18, Ederson, turning 28 on August 17, was purchased from Benfica, back then, on a 40 million euros transfer fee. Already on a deal with Citizens until June 2025, São Paulo alumni, equipped with a dual Portuguese citizenship, has so far won three Premier League titles (as well as two Primeira Liga ones). Playing as a regular starter for City throughout all four campaign of his in the club ranks, Ederson was wanted there by Pep Guardiola himself.
