The General Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has denied report that the contract of Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has been extended
Sanusi said on Sunday that the federation will discuss whether or not Peseiro's contract will be extended when it's about to expire Nigeria soccernet reports
"As far as I know, Jose Peseiro contract has not expired and not been extended. Is it not when a contract expires that we will talk about renewal? He asked rhetorically.
When asked when the contract will expire, the NFF scribe said, "I don't know when the contract will expire and I can't tell you off hand how many year/s contract he signed with NFF because I am not with the the details here." He concluded.
In May 2022, the former Venezuelan manager, Jose Peseiro succeeded Augustine Eguavoen as Super Eagles manager. Since then, he has managed 8 games, winning 3 and lost 5.
